Prestigious client requires an accomplished Data Analyst with advanced SAS skills to perform data validation, extraction and testing to support the Impairment and forecasting team. Experience of Credit risk essential
* Take ownership of Impairment and/or Forecasting on products
* Work with stakeholders across the Credit Risk Office and local team to understand all areas that impact actual and forecast Impairment figures and ensure that forecasts are robust.
* Drive improvements in impairment processes (Impairment forecasts, variance analyses etc) so models are best in class. Support Impairment & Forecasting team on ad hoc analyses
* Explore new modeling approaches (segmentation, Strategic Analytics approach etc) that would enable more robust forecasts.
* Manage stakeholder relationship and influence colleagues at different levels

Strong SAS skills - with ability to manipulate large data sets, automate monthly SAS processes and debug SAS code with minimal steer. Extract, validate and test data.
Strong Excel skills - with ability to work with multiple work sheets, pivots etc
Communication - effectively communicate detail and technical concepts in plain English.
Stakeholder management - Interface with various departments effectively to ensure project delivery
Team working - enjoys working in cross functional and virtual teams
