Teradata Developer- Teradata/Cognos Development

Teradata Developer, Cognos Development, Teradata development, financial services, London. Candidates MUST have experience of developing in both Cognos and Teradata.

This role`s main function is to support the Analytics and Information strategic agenda.
Due to the significantly increased demand for MI within department, there is a requirement for a Teradata Developer with good experience of developing in Cognos.

Role
*Build, develop and deliver Management Information solutions/reporting in line with business requirements to agreed time, cost and quality criteria using subject matter expertise as appropriate
*Provide in-depth technical support on all aspects of the build, development and successful implementation of Management Information solutions.
*Managing own technical delivery or part of the end-to-end Design, Build and Deploy process.
*Improve efficiency by developing automated solutions that are fit for purpose
*Identify mitigating actions where appropriate by tracking and managing issues accordingly
*Increase confidence by ensuring standards are met within the testing framework, performing all necessary testing and validation as necessary, involving end users and others within the UK Retail Bank Team as required.
*To design and develop a database within the Warehouse to hold transactional data.
*Design and develop Cognos reporting using the data contained within this database.
