My client, a top tier bank require an Application Support Analyst to join their team.
Skills/Experience (required):
Windows Server; Windows Web Server; MS SQL; IBM RPG/CL;, IBM Batch and Scheduler, DB2, OS400 maintenance; AIX Unix, Cobol, Websphere [Unix] Shellscript, ApacheTomCat; SQL Server, IIS; Proven ability within the IBM iSeries, IBM pSeries and IIS (web based) environments; Analyst/programmer; Experienced of application and batch support; Project Management/SDLC awareness; Sound knowledge of development methodologies and technologies; Experience of test definition and execution.
Responsibilities (will include, but not be limited to):
To provide ongoing support to the Business Critical Systems; Collections and Recoveries systems - Debt Manager, Triad Placements Plus and integration software (circa 50,000 and 120,000 accounts); Loans Administration system - Centrac (circa 1.2M accounts); Credit Applications systems - Catalyst and Icenet, Informer document production (circa 700,000 applications p.a.); Card Payment System - CPS; To undertake administration of environments - preventative maintenance, backups, rebuilds etc; IBM Collections Service (iSeries and pSeries servers); Icenet (Rackspace servers); To manage internal security and testing, including Disaster Recovery; To provide out of hours support via the on-call rota, 24x7x365; To be a Subject Matter Expert for all the aforementioned systems, able to act as first point of contact for system issues and queries.
